Police: Weekend shooting victim dies

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police on Tuesday said a man who was shot after attending a party over the weekend has died at University Medical Center (UMC).

Police on Sunday received a call that a man had been shot and another man stabbed in an alley on Elk Springs Avenue near Twain Avenue.

Detectives determined both victims had attended a party where a confrontation between the victims and suspects ensued.

The victims were taken to UMC.

The coroner will identify the shooting victim and the exact cause of death in the coming days.
