12-year-old hit by car

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

According to Metro police, a 12-year-old girl was hit by a car on Tuesday afternoon at Desert Inn Road and Arville Street.

The accident happened sometime before 4 p.m. The victim was taken to University Medical Center.

Police have not released the details of the accident and it is not yet known if the victim was in a crosswalk.
