A road project is scheduled to restrict traffic on a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard in the north end of the Las Vegas valley beginning Wednesday.
Nevada Department of Transportation said drilling for a soil extraction project will affect the right lanes of both north and southbound traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard North, from Tonopah Avenue to Craig Road.
Crews will close the lanes for 20 to 30 minutes at a time, NDOT said.
The lane closures are from 8 a.m. through 4 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday.
Two lanes of traffic will be open in both directions and the right bus lanes will also be shut down, NDOT said.
