
Authorities identified the motorcyclist who died when he struck a pick-up truck on Rainbow Boulevard near U.S. 95 on Saturday.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the motorcycle operated by David Sabatino, 45, was exiting the 95 when it collided with a pickup truck just before 11 p.m.
While trying to make a left turn onto southbound Rainbow, the driver turned too far to the left - heading northbound and into the front of the pickup truck, NHP said.
NHP said the motorcycle operator and a female passenger were ejected.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the pick-up had minor injuries. An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
