NLV police officer involved in car accident

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

A North Las Vegas police officer and another vehicle were involved in a crash near Craig Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard on Sunday.

Officials said the officer was traveling eastbound on Craig Road and the other vehicle was traveling north on Martin Luther King when the accident occurred.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
