LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A car occupied by juvenile students crashed into a palm tree after school police tried to stop the vehicle, authorities said Friday.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, Clark County School District attempted to stop the vehicle near Marion Drive and Stewart Avenue at about 9 a.m.
Police said officers observed the vehicle driving recklessly.
The vehicle then crashed into a palm tree in front of a house, prompting the occupants to flee, police said.
Metro officers were called to help find the occupants of the car.
