LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
With the majority of precincts reporting, Nevada has passed State Question Number 1, which will allow the Legislature to convene a special session by way of a petition approved by two-thirds of the Legislature.
Clark County voters overwhelmingly voted down Clark County Question 2, which would have levied a property tax of up to 21.2 cents to fund construction of new schools for up to six years.
Voters also said no to Henderson Libraries Question Number 1, which would have levied an additional property tax in order to fund upgrades to libraries in the city.
