Auto-ped crash involves TV theft

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A man is recovering at University Medical Center after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Arville Street.

Police said it started just before 3:20 p.m. on Friday when the victim was sitting at a bus stop, watching a TV he had purchased. A suspect approached, attempted to steal the man's TV and a struggle ensued.

The struggle spilled out onto Charleston and the victim was hit by a car. The suspect fled the scene with the TV.

Police are investigating.
