LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
November's First Friday event in downtown Las Vegas is dedicated to the written word.
Organizers for the event that takes place every first Friday of every month will be holding poetry readings and a children's book exchange for the event's theme -- "the art of reading."
Those festivities go along with the music, arts and cuisine that are customary with First Friday.
First Friday goes on from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
A shuttle service will be running for the first four hours with several locations for free parking.
You can get event and parking information at firstfridaylasvegas.com.
