GENESEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Just minutes ago a Genesee County jury handed down a guilty verdict in the Daniel and Alisha Hall trial.

Jurors agreed with prosecutors that Daniel Hall sexually abused his six-month-old baby daughter.

His wife Alisha was convicted of taking pictures of the acts. The pair were found guilty on all charges against them, including first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Last week, Daniel Hall admitted to posing in sexual positions with his daughter, and his wife, Alisha, is accused of taking those photographs.

However, Daniel testified he forced her to take the pictures.

During the investigation earlier this year, Mount Morris Police Chief Keith Becker says not only did investigators find more than a dozen images of Daniel Hall engaged in sexual acts with his own child, they also reportedly retrieved 5,000 to 8,000 pornographic images of other children. They aren't sure if the Halls took the pictures or simply downloaded them.

In a past court hearing, Daniel's attorney told Genesee District Judge Christopher Odette that Daniel believes he is a "prophet of God." He said Daniel believes he is in jail for religious purposes.

TV5 has a crew in the courtroom and will have much more for you tonight beginning at 5.
