NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
Halloween is over, and the holiday has probably left you not only with a candy belly ache, but also with a shriveled up Jack-o-lantern. Another option to just throwing it away is donating it to help feed some hungry pigs.
R.C. Farms, located in North Las Vegas, is putting a spin on recycling. It wants your old Halloween pumpkins to turn into scrumptious feed for the pigs.
You do not have to travel to the farm. There are several locations throughout the valley where you can recycle your pumpkin, and it is guaranteed to find its way to a hungry little piggy.
Here are dropoff locations:
- R.C. Farms: 555 East El Campo Grande Ave., North Las Vegas 89081
- Green Valley: 1382 American Pacific Dr., Henderson 89014
- K-Mart: 10405 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson 89052
- Rainbow: 7335 S. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas 89113
- Flamingo: 9892 W. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas 89147
