LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police said they believe a man involved in a domestic incident in northeast Las Vegas barricaded himself in a home.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, 911 operators received a call from a residence in the 3700 block of S. Nellis Boulevard just after 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Once on the line, the caller said, "never mind," and hung up, police said.

Officers arrived in the neighborhood where the call originated and determined that a domestic violence incident occurred at the reported residence, according to Metro.

Police made contact with people inside the residence, with some exiting from the rear of the home, police said.

Police believed a man remained inside. Metro said a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team was called to the scene.

There was no word of injuries in the incident. An investigation is under way.
