HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

A Henderson business is using the day before Halloween to raise money in the memory of a teen who died after being swept into rushing water.

The owners of Sno-Ball Mania said 50 percent of all sales on Tuesday will be donated to the William Mootz Foundation, which was established to build a memorial at a Boy Scout camp in his honor.

Mootz died in August when he fell into the rushing water of Pittman Wash.

The Green Valley High School student was just days away from entering his senior year there.

Sno-Ball Mania is located at 1039 Whitney Ranch Drive in Henderson.
