Authorities released the name of a driver who died in a two-vehicle collision in the west end of Las Vegas.

According to the Clark County Coroner's office, Diane Marie Harmon, 29, was the person who died in the incident on Sunday.

Las Vegas Metro police said Harmon was behind the wheel of a 2007 Nissan Altima that was heading eastbound on Charleston Boulevard when it struck a Ford pick-up truck at about 2:42 a.m.

According to police, the westbound pick-up was attempting to turn left at Shadow Lane when it was struck by the Nissan.

Authorities said the collision resulted in a fire on the Nissan. Harmon died at the scene, according to police.

The driver of the pick-up, 23-year-old Tatiana Taylor, sustained serious injuries, police said.

As of this accident, Harmon represents the 93rd traffic-related fatality in Metro's jurisdiction.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
