According to a spokesperson for McCarran Airport, First Lady Michelle Obama's plane is grounded at McCarran Airport following her rally today at Orr Middle School in Las Vegas.
That spokesperson would not elaborate on why the plane is grounded and referred FOX5 to the White House for answers.
The White House issued the following statement at 8:15 p.m. on Friday:
"The First Lady's return flight to Washington has been delayed tonight due to mechanical problems. She will remain in Las Vegas for a few hours but expects to depart tonight."
