NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
A woman who was not wearing her seat belt died after rolling her vehicle in North Las Vegas, police said.
According to NLV police, the single vehicle wreck happened near Aliante Parkway and Grand Teton Drive about 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Police said the 38-year-old woman was driving northbound on Aliante at the time.
When the road merged left, she was not able to stay on the roadway and drove onto the desert instead, police said.
The vehicle flipped and the woman was thrown from it, according to officers.
The woman, who was not immediately identified, was taken to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Police continued to investigate the accident.
