LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A 59-year-old Las Vegas man who died after falling off a bicycle was identified on Monday.
Gilbert Berhard Wehrli was the person who died in an incident Sunday, Clark County Coroner's office said.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, Wehrli died after falling off a bicycle on Cimarron Road, south of Festivity Circle, just before 10:30 a.m.
According to police, the cyclist was traveling northbound on Cimarron, in the bike lane, when he and the bike slid on the ground, fell and came to rest in the bike lane.
Wehrli was pronounced dead on the scene by responding medical personnel.
A preliminary investigation suggests the cyclist suffered a medical episode before the accident, but the Clark County coroner will determine the exact cause of death.
