The Clark County Coroner's office released the name of a pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle.
Douglas Alan Reid, 59, died of multiple injuries as a result of the collision, the coroner's office said.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, Reid was attempting to cross Las Vegas Boulevard near Mesquite Boulevard about 9 p.m. Saturday.
Police said a red Dodge was heading northbound on Las Vegas Boulevard when Reid stepped off the median and into the pathway of the vehicle.
Reid died at the scene.
Metro noted there are no crosswalks in the area.
