LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
All over the Las Vegas Valley, early voting trailers have been set up in shopping center parking lots.
Polling locations will also be built inside shopping malls hours before early voting polls will open Saturday morning.
A list of voting locations and hours can be found at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov/vote.
A total of 88 locations will be open to the public between Saturday and Nov. 2. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
Some Las Vegas voters saw the trailers Friday afternoon and thought they were open for business.
"As soon as I saw the trailer I'm like, 'Yeah they're here,'" said early voter Deborah Christopher.
In the 2008 presidential election, 48 percent of registered voters in Clark County cast their ballots early, compared to about 26 percent on election day.
"It used to be crowded at Beatty Elementary when we didn't early vote and the lines are out the door," Christopher said.
It's likely to be a record number that's voting early in 2012.
In the county 852,413 voters are currently registered, compared to 815,190 in 2008.
"This being the president's last campaign, we are so excited to see all our hard work finally come into fruition tomorrow," said Aoife McCarthy, press secretary for the Obama campaign in Nevada.
The Obama team is calling its early voting campaign "We Decide."
At Romney headquarters Friday, Mitt's son, Josh Romney, met with volunteers to stress the importance of the early vote in our battleground state.
"This is big. The majority of the voters are actually going to come out early and start voting before election day, before Nov. 6. We are really encouraging our supporters to get out, vote early, and then start volunteering," said Romney.
