LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Celebrity Flavor Flav was arrested in Las Vegas Wednesday morning after allegedly chasing his fiancee's son with knives, as he threatened to kill him.
Flavor Flav's real name is William Drayton, 55.
Police were called to a domestic disturbance in the 7800 block of Via Ventura Court around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. The caller was Drayton's fiancee of eight years, Elizabeth Trujillo, 39. She told officers that she had been in a physical altercation with Drayton, according to Metro.
When officers arrived at the home on Via Ventura Court, they heard Drayton and Trujillo arguing inside, an arrest report stated.
Trujillo told officers that she and Drayton started fighting because he cheated on her. The altercation began as a verbal confrontation and became physical, according to Metro's report.
Trujillo told police that Dayton grabbed her by her shoulders, stomach and arms, and threw her to the ground twice. She told police that an earring was ripped from her left ear, causing it to bleed.
As the fight continued, Trujillo's son 17-year-old son confronted Drayton. Drayton and the teen began wrestling in the living room floor, according to Metro's report. Drayton grabbed two knives and began chasing the teen, threatening to kill him, according to police.
The teen told police that he ran to his sister's upstairs bedroom. He and his 16-year-old sister locked themselves inside the room, police said.
According to the boy, Drayton kicked in the door and continued threatening to kill him, with two knives in his hands.
Accounts of the incident from Trujillo, her son and daughter all matched, according to Metro's report.
Drayton denied chasing and threatening to kill the boy, police said. The knives he reportedly used were recovered by police in the kitchen.
According to the police report, Drayton suffered a self-inflicted cut to his hand from a knife.
Drayton was arrested and booked on charges, including felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic violence.
