LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The deadline to register to vote is Tuesday. You do have to show up in person to register, as online and mailed registration cards are no longer accepted for the 2012 presidential election.
There are two places to register to vote in person or update your registration. They have extended hours to help accommodate the last-minute rush.

First floor of the Clark County Government Center
500 S. Grand Central Parkway (near Charleston)
Las Vegas

965 Trade Dr., Suite A. (near Martin L. King Boulevard and Cheyenne)
North Las Vegas
On Monday and Tuesday both locations are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Early voting starts Saturday, Oct. 20 and concludes Friday, Nov. 2.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
