Beer festival coming to downtown Las Vegas

Posted: Updated:

Tickets to the Downtown Brew Festival are on sale now.

Motley Brews and Ballast Point Brewing Company are hosting the beer celebration.

It's set to take place at the Clark County Amphitheater on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The event is a spin-off from the annual Great Las Vegas Festival of Beer which takes place each spring.

The Downtown Brew Festival is being held as part of a local effort to revitalize downtown.

More than 40 local and regional breweries will feature around 150 craft beers and seasonal brews for festivalgoers to taste.

"The craft beer movement in Las Vegas, much like downtown, is gaining more and more momentum by the day," said Motley Brews founder, Brian Chapin. "The demand for a second event was evident, and we decided downtown Las Vegas would be the perfect place."

The festival will also feature live music from bands like international reggae sensation, Tribal Seeds.

General admission tickets for the festival are $32 when purchased in advance or $42 when purchased at the door.

VIP Pavilion tickets are available for $42 in advance or $52 at the event.

VIP Pavilion ticket holders can enjoy early entry into the festival and exclusive food and beer tasting options.
