LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Ongoing construction on a bridge near McCarran Airport is prompting overnight closures at the Airport Connector.
According to Clark County Department of Aviation, the ramp that connects eastbound Interstate 215 to the Airport Connector will be closed on Sunday and Monday. The length of the closures is from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Traffic will be diverted to the Warm Springs exit and towards westbound I-215 to the airport tunnel.
In addition the ramp that connects traffic from the Airport Connector to the eastbound I-215 will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The length of the closures is also from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Traffic will be detoured to the Hidden Well Road exit to Gillespie Street and then to Warm Springs.
The closures support a bridge expansion at the Airport Connector.
