LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police were seeking an armed masked man who held up a store in the east end of the Las Vegas valley.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, the suspect entered the business just before 4 a.m. on Sept. 29, in the area of Vegas Valley Drive and Lamb Boulevard.

Police said the suspect approached the clerk and demanded money. The man fled after the clerk complied with the demand, Metro said.

Detectives described the suspect as a black man, 25-35 years old, about 6 feet tall and 250 lbs. He was last seen wearing a beanie-style cap, a black doo-rag covering his face and a black t-shirt.

Police urge anyone with information on the crime to call Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
