Nevada town celebrates ‘Haunted Corn Maze’ reopening

Posted: Updated:
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The small community of Glendale marked the reopening of its "Haunted Corn Maze" on Friday -- two years after a poor crop put the Halloween attraction on hiatus.

According to designers, the maze was cut in five hours by tractor at a field on Glendale Boulevard near Interstate 15, about 45 minutes north of Las Vegas.

The maze became a popular attraction when it opened in 2004, but a series of mishaps -- including a 2008 and the poor crop -- led to multiple cancellations over the years.

To mark the reopening of the maze, organizers added a pumpkin patch, rock climbing wall and zip line to the attraction.

The maze is open Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets are $13 but guests who bring a can of food will receive a $1 discount.

More information is available on the maze website.
