One man shot near Eastern and Owens - FOX5 Vegas - KVVU

A man was shot just after 1 p.m. on the 2600 block of Demetrius Avenue, near Eastern and Owens avenues Sunday.
According to police, the man approached a residence in the area for help, a resident called 911.
Police arrived on scene and attempted to locate the suspect, but they were unsuccessful.
Metro police told FOX5 the suspect had been suffering from a gunshot wound to a lower extremity.
The victim was transported to University Medical Center Trauma with non-life threatening injuries.
