Sewer work to affect morning traffic on Flamingo Road

A manhole rehabilitation project will affect traffic at Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road primarily during the overnight hours this week.

Beginning Monday and concluding Thursday, you can expect delays each morning between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m., affecting morning rush hour traffic.

The Clark County Water Reclamation District was originally slated to complete the work on the week of Jan. 4.

CCWRD the inside northbound left turn lane of Las Vegas Boulevard to Flamingo Road will be closed while the outside left turn lane will remain open.

The far right southbound through lane will be closed while the right turn lane onto Flamingo will remain open.

The two left westbound through lanes of Flamingo will be closed and traffic will be reduced to one through lane. Left turns will be allowed onto southbound Las Vegas Boulevard. The outside eastbound left turn lane to northbound Las Vegas Boulevard will be closed. The inside left turn lane will remain open. The outside eastbound left through lane will be closed with the two right through lanes remaining open.
