LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is participating in the Crime Stoppers 33rd Annual Training Conference Tuesday at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.

The Crime Stoppers program helped police in Southern Nevada make 133 felony arrests in 2011.

Worldwide, the program has assisted in the arrest of more than 900,000 people, or about one crime solved every 14 minutes.

Crime Stoppers allows citizens to report tips to law enforcement anonymously.

Delegates from around the world will attend the conference.

They will celebrate the growth and success of the Crime Stoppers program.

Attendees will also discuss the trafficking of humans, drugs, and guns.

If you have a tip for Crime Stoppers, call 702-385-5555.
