First Vegas LINQ tenants revealed

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Caesars Entertainment unveiled Monday its first retail, dining and entertainment businesses that will take up residence when The LINQ opens next year.

The Las Vegas-based company said about 70 percent of its spaces is committed under signed leases or letters of intent, with another 15 percent under negotiation.

Caesars unveiled 11 of its 32 currently-signed tenants Monday. A ceremony announcing the first shops, restaurants and entertainment fare was scheduled to take place at Pure Nightclub inside Caesars Palace at 7 p.m.

As revealed by Caesars, the companies first announced for the 300,000 square foot entertainment district include:

  • Bella Scarpa, a shoe and accessory boutique;
  • Brooklyn Bowl, a themed bowling alley and performance space;
  • Chayo Mexicano, an upscale Mexican restaurant;
  • F.A.M.E., a culinary center that offers Asian-inspired street food;
  • Flour & Barley, a "rock-influenced" pizzeria;
  • KOTO, an international lifestyle trend store;
  • Off the Strip, a locally-renowned bistro;
  • Ruby Blue, an "ultimate" women's accessories store;
  • Sprinkles Cupcakes and Ice Cream Flagship, a "cupcakery" that first opened in Beverly Hills;
  • Tilted Kilt, pub that boasts female servers in plaid kilts;
  • Yard House, an upscale, casual restaurant known for its craft beer and ales.

Caesars estimates about 1,500 permanent jobs will be added once The LINQ opens in 2013. The complex will also boast the 550-foot "High Roller" observation wheel that will be seen right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip.

Caesars also noted that the district will be operated on a 24-hour basis.

The company estimated the cost of building the center, which is located between Imperial Palace and The Flamingo hotels, at $550 million.
