NV Energy worker mourned by friends, colleagues

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

An NV Energy worker who died after falling from a 100-foot tower at the Apex Industrial Park has been identified as Herbie Goforth III.

Authorities said Goforth fell just after noon Tuesday at the complex in the 18000 block of N. Las Vegas Boulevard.

In a statement, a company spokesperson offered condolences and said, "Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of one of NV Energy family members today."

Goforth attended Cimarron Memorial High School and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2007.
