Vegas police seeking 'pot belly' bank bandit

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police said a man with a "pot belly" robbed a bank in the northwest part of the city before fleeing on a mountain bike.

According to Metro's Robbery Section, the hold-up happened about 2:20 p.m. on Sept. 19 near Farm Road and Durango Drive.

Police said the suspect entered the bank branch and presented a note to a teller, demanding money. After the teller complied, the suspect fled on a dark mountain bicycle, according to Metro.

Police described the suspect as white, in his late 20's to early 30's, 5'7", 200 pounds with a pot belly and a small black beard.

Detectives said he was last seen wearing a brown hat, sunglasses, tan t-shirt, gray shorts with a white and black stripe, white shoes and possibly a wig under his hat.
