Gas leak prompts evacuation in east Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

An evacaution was ordered near Missouri and Stephanie Tuesday after construction workers in the area hit a gas line, a spokesperson for Clark County confirmed.

The evacuation order was issued before 8 a.m.

55 people were taken to a building away from the leak for about 45 minutes while crews resolved the situation.

No injuries were reported.
