LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A Las Vegas mother is furious after the man who killed her daughter in a DUI crash was arrested again for driving under the influence.

Justin Caramanica, 42, was out on bail awaiting his sentence for the deadly crash when police arrested him again on Saturday night.

"I was enraged," said Rocquell Love after hearing about the arrest.

It hasn't yet been a year since Love lost her daughter, 12-year-old Faith Love - a girl who was run down and killed by an impaired driver on Oct. 31, 2011.

Caramanica pleaded guilty in July to felony DUI causing death. He was released on bail with restrictions that he wear a monitoring bracelet and not drive a vehicle until his sentencing.

While out on bail, however, Metro police said he crashed into a parked car and tried to flee the scene.

A motion from the office of the district attorney released Monday said after the accident on Saturday night, Caramanica admitted to taking Oxycodone, Xanax and a drug called Soma earlier in the day.

"Killing a 12-year-old girl, waiting for sentencing, out on the road again - (he) learned nothing, learned absolutely nothing," said FOX5 legal analyst Bob Massi. "This is truly an example of somebody needs to look at these laws and see what can they do to make it more strict to protect you and I as drivers on the road."

Massi said it is not uncommon for some convicted criminals to be freed on bail before sentencing. But Rocquell Love said it never should have happened - not in this case.

"He's shown the public - not just once with taking my daughter's life - but now it's like I can do what I want," she said.

Sandy Heverly, co-founder of Stop DUI, told FOX5 she takes this matter seriously.

"That is something that we're certainly going to be addressing at the next legislative session," she said.

Felony DUI causing death carries a two- to 20-year sentence. Rocquell Love wants the maximum penalty.

"If this weekend's events do not impact my daughter's case, I will be on a rampage verbally - speaking to whoever I can," she said. "Making phone calls to mayors, legislators, Al Sharpton - whoever I need to contact - yes."

Prosecutors filed a request with the judge to revoke Caramanica's bail, adding that blood tests are still pending for this latest incident.

In addition to DUI, Caramanica is also charged with failing to drive in marked lanes, driving on a revoked license and driving without proof of insurance.

Caramanica is due back in court on Tuesday morning.
