LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A motorist awaiting sentencing for a fatal DUI crash last Halloween was arrested again over the weekend for allegedly driving under the influence.  Forty-one-year-old Justin Caramanica's newest charges include DUI, failure to drive within marked lanes and driving on a revoked license.

"Mind boggling. All of us are trying to get our heads around this," said Sandy Heverly, co-founder of Stop DUI. "To show disrespect for the person whose life he took for the family members that are left behind is truly unbelievable," she added.

Faith Love, 12, was struck and  killed last Oct. 31 while trick-or-treating near her home at Sahara Avenue and Hulapai Way. According to police, at the time of the crash, Caramanica's blood-alcohol level was just under the limit but he may have also been on prescription drugs.

His arrest on Saturday occurred on the same day that police were conducting a DUI checkpoint where 2,600 motorists were stopped. Thirty were tested and 13 were arrested, according to Metro's Jose Hernandez. "Every time someone is impaired and gets behind the wheel, there is that potential for a fatal accident, there is the potential for a collision, there is a potential for all kinds of things," he added.

Caramanica will be sentenced in November for the death of Faith. He is scheduled to be in court Tuesday morning to face his latest charges.
