A Las Vegas woman was identified as the driver who died after rolling her vehicle near a northwest end park.

The Clark County Coroner's office said Courtney Moyer, 23, died from blunt chest trauma as a result of the accident that took place Sept. 21.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, Moyer's vehicle was heading southbound on Oso Blanca Road near Elkhorn Road, when it ran off the road and onto the soft shoulder.

Police said the vehicle traveled into a drainage ditch, causing it to roll over.

Metro said Moyer was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car. She died at the scene.

There were no other injuries reported.

As of this incident, Metro has investigated 86 traffic-related fatalities this year.
