LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A Las Vegas man who has been awaiting sentencing in a deadly drunk driving crash was busted for driving under intoxication.

Records at Clark County Detention Center showed Justin Caramanica was arrested and booked on Sept. 22 for DUI, failure to drive within marked lanes and driving on a revoked license.

Caramanica, 41, was out on bond while awaiting sentencing in a drunk driving incident that led to the death of 12-year-old Faith Love on Halloween, 2011.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, Caramanica was behind the wheel of a car that struck Love when she was trick-or-treating in a neighborhood near Sahara Avenue and Hulapai Way.

Police said Caramanica's blood-alcohol level was just under the limit in the Oct. 31, 2011 crash, but he may have also been on prescription drugs.

Caramanica took a plea deal in July and was awaiting sentencing set for November. A judge reportedly ordered Caramanica not to drive while released.

Metro police was expected to release details of Caramanica's latest arrest on Monday.

He was also scheduled to appear in Las Vegas Justice Court for an initial appearance on Tuesday.
