A driver sustained severe injuries after being freed from an overturned truck that also caught fire, Henderson police said.

Henderson Fire Department reported the incident on Greenway and Fairway roads, near the Black Mountain Country Club, some time after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials said a person was pinned in the vehicle as a result of the rollover.
