A registered sex offender was arrested this week, accused of sexually molesting the teen son of a friend.
According to the Mohave County, Ariz. Sheriff's office, Edmund Herald Adams, of Golden Valley, was arrested on Sept. 18 on three counts of felony child molestation.
Detectives said a woman told deputies that her son told her he had been touched inappropriately by Adams, who was a family friend.
Investigators learned Adams is a registered sex offender, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies executed a warrant at Adams' home and arrested the 53-year-old.
Adams denied any sexual contact with the boy, deputies said. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
