Search crews have located a woman who went missing from the Old Mill Picnic area of Mt. Charleston Tuesday. A Metro police spokesperson said she was found with minor injuries.
The 47-year-old woman was discovered by a volunteer who was searching on foot about a mile from where she disappeared in extremely difficult terrain.
Authorities first received reports of the lost woman about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police, the woman separated from her group during a hike and was not heard from after that.
Metro's Search and Rescue aircraft was dispatched to the mountain on Wednesday to look for the woman.
