Boulevard Mall to host Filipino-American expo

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Nevada's Filipino-American population is now the fastest-growing Asian population in the state, larger than all other Asian groups combined.

To address the needs of this growing population, the National Federation of Filipino-American Associations (NaFFAA) will hold an expo, Mabuhay Expo, on Saturday, Sept. 22 at The Boulevard Mall.

The free expo will provide resources and information to youths, families and seniors in the Filipino-American community as well as the community-at-large.

Information and resources will concern the following: employment, housing, immigration, social services, elder services, financial planning, health and wellness, beauty and fashion and voter information and registration.

The event is will kick off at 10 a.m. and conclude at 6 p.m.
