NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
Formal charges have been filed against one of four suspects in a North Las Vegas armed robbery and police pursuit case.
A NLVPD arrest report released Tuesday accuses Anthony Clark, 21, of conspiring to commit armed robbery with three other individuals. The report says Clark was one of four men who robbed a Circle K in the 400 block of Centennial Road on Sept. 10.
According to NLVPD's report, after the robbery the suspects, including Clark, fled in his vehicle. The suspects led police on a pursuit that ended when Clark's vehicle hit a residential wall at 4649 Possum Berry.
The suspects left the vehicle, running away on foot. Three escaped capture, but Clark was located by police in a neighboring yard south of the vehicle crash site. He was arrested.
Clark told police that he was homeless, and that he had been living in the yard where police found him. He told officers his car had been "robbed" the day prior, according to NLVPD's arrest report.
According to the report, Clark matched the description of one of the suspects in the Circle K at the time of the robbery earlier in the evening.
Clark is charged with trespassing, conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery with a deadly weapon and failure to report a traffic accident.
