A man claimed to have a bomb when he held up an east Las Vegas bank branch, police said.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, the suspect walked towards a bank window at a grocery store in the area of Boulder Highway and Nellis Boulevard on Sept. 14.
The suspect was seen rolling a suitcase behind him when he approached a teller, police said.
The man presented a note that indicated he had a bomb and that he was demanding money, detectives said.
The teller complied to the demand, and, after being handed cash, the suspect fled, according to Metro.
Police described the suspect as a black man, 30-40 years of age, 5'6" to 5'8", 180-200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark, camouflage doo-rag, gray t-shirt and blue jeans.
Police said he was carrying a small, blue suitcase on wheels.
