LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Police released a composite sketch of an armed man suspected of holding a woman against her will in the east side of Las Vegas.
According to detectives, the woman was walking in the area of Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road about 10 p.m. on Sept. 12, when, she said, she was grabbed from behind, held and threatened with a knife.
Police said she was able to fight off the suspect and escape. She sustained minor injuries, police said.
Metro said the suspect was described as a black man in his early 20's. He stood about 6 feet tall and weighed about 170 pounds.
Police said he appeared to have very light brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red "doo rag," white crew neck short sleeved t-shirt and Dickie-style long red shorts.
Police said the suspect appeared to have fled the area on foot.
