LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the driver who died when his vehicle slammed into a wall near Interstate 15.
Rashad Jamal Searcy, 31, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Post Road and Ensworth Street, just east of I-15, about 4 a.m. Friday.
According to Metro, Searcy was heading westbound on Post approaching Ensworth, when he lost control and collided with a wall.
The man was transported to University Medical Center Trauma, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The coroner lists Searcy's official cause of death as "blunt chest trauma from a motor vehicle accident." His death has been ruled accidental.
Authorities said there was no one else in the car and there were no other injuries.
