A neighbor has confirmed to FOX5 that a man killed in the attack in Libya lived in the Las Vegas Valley.
Tyrone Woods, 41, was a retired Navy SEAL. The State Department said he was working for a private security team at the embassy in Libya. He was one of four Americans killed in an attack earlier this week.
Woods' neighbor said he had just moved to Henderson this summer from California.
"Sounds like a real great guy. Knowing now I wish I would have talked to him more either going to work or on the way back home," neighbor Lamar Bilbrew said.
The State Department said Woods leaves behind a wife and three sons, one just a few months old.
