Authorities in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. arrested an 18-year-old who was accused of sexually assaulting a girl who he had met at a community event.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, Ivan Eduardo Flores, 18, was charged for felony molestation of a child and sexual conduct with a minor.
Deputies arrested Flores on Sept. 7 after a 14-year-old girl reported an incident of sexual conduct to school personnel, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies said the girl told detectives she had been assaulted the day before by Flores, whom she met that evening at a community gathering.
Authorities said witnesses reported seeing Flores with the victim at that event.
He was arrested without incident and booked into the Mohave County Substation Jail.
