LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) has listed Rep. Shelley Berkley, D-NV, among some of the country's most corrupt members of Congress in 2012.
The list includes 12 members of Congress as "most corrupt," with eight more given "dishonorable mentions."
Berkley receives a "dishonorable mention" on CREW's 2012 Most Corrupt list.
The list from CREW includes 13 Republicans and seven Democrats.
CREW is a non-profit organization that, according to its website, works to hold politicians accountable for their actions.
"Day in and day out, we work to ensure government officials -regardless of party affiliation- act with honesty and integrity and merit the public trust," the CREW website states.
CREW's report on Berkley is nine pages long. CREW claims Berkley has spent her career advocating for renal care physicians, "in spite of an obvious conflict of interest created by her husband's medical practice."

Berkley was previously listed to CREW's Most Corrupt list in 2011.
Berkley's camp issued the following statement to FOX5 in response to the list:
It's unfortunate that CREW made this designation without having their facts straight. As it has been widely reported for months, UMC officials have stated that the contract would not have been impacted even if the transplant program had been terminated. The only reason Congresswoman Berkley joined Rep. Dean Heller to save the state's only kidney transplant program was because 200 Nevada patients were waiting for lifesaving treatment.
