LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The search for a landscape worker at a Las Vegas golf course
continued, a day after he went missing during Tuesday's considerable
rainfall.
Police said the man, identified by his family as Calletano Lopez, 38, of Las Vegas, was working at the Desert Rose Golf Course in Las Vegas. He was last seen at around 4:22 p.m. Tuesday.
The missing man's boss told him to leave the golf course and go home. He was not seen again and his personal vehicle was still at the golf course Tuesday evening. The backhoe the man was operating at the golf course is almost entirely covered in water.
Police briefly searched for Lopez before sunset. Metro's Search and Rescue team began searching again for Lopez Wednesday morning after flood waters receded.
