LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Roads flooded as heavy rain fell across parts of the Las Vegas Valley Tuesday.

Drivers were encouraged to avoid standing water and debris in low-lying areas. High water left motorists stranded, prompting a number of water rescues.

Weather prompted a Flash Flood Warning for Clark County from the National Weather Service until 6:15 p.m.
