NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
North Las Vegas Police needs your help locating a person they believe has pertinent information regarding a North Las Vegas pawn store robbery.
At around 4 p.m. on September 7, 2012, a pawn store located on the 2000 block of West Craig Road was robbed by a man armed with a handgun.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle.
A short time later, officers located the vehicle and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The suspect crashed his vehicle near the area of Smoke Ranch Road and Michael Way.
Officers setup a perimeter with the assistance of the Las Vegas Metro police and searched for the man.
After several hours, the search ended without locating the suspect.
Detectives want to question 23-year-old Torrence Walls, standing 6 feet and 2 inches, weighing 170 pounds.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Walls is urged to call the North Las Vegas Police Department at (702) 633-9111 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555. Tips leading to an arrest or an indictment called into Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
